August 24, 2023 – Annual Hamper Donation

On the evening of Thursday August 24th the Lakehead Antique Car Club met as per normal at Robins Donuts on Memorial.  However, after a season of collecting donated canned and dry goods from  members who attended club events and cruises throughout the year it was decision time.  After careful consideration and previous media coverage members took the opportunity to invite “Linda” from “Evergreen” a united neighbourhood for a surprise contribution of a most generous hamper of goodies to help their organization meet it’s goal of serving the needs of locals in the Ogden St. area.  Pictured is Irene Dahl, long time club member Bill Exell and Irena Elms with Mark, Manny and Linda Bruin as they gracious accept our donation along with our congratulations for their efforts on behalf of those in need in their area.
